The French Ronde calligraphy script is wonderfully decorative, and its rounded structure is suitable for those interested in exploring using pen and ink, perhaps for the first time.

In this one day workshop we will explore how to use a dip pen and construct the script. As the day progresses we can then use single letters or words to arrange in ornamental monograms or short phrases

Materials Cost

A small pot of ink, pen holder & nib, practice paper and worksheets (all to take home) £15 per person,

For students to bring:

• Sharp pencil, ruler and eraser
• Glasses or magnifiers if you need them for close work
• Calligraphy materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring in your
  own calligraphy pens if you have any
• We will be using inks, which can sometimes get on your clothes, so please dress
  appropriately (maybe not all in white!)
