In this one day class you will make a beaded sculpture of a seahorse nestled in beaded corals and all set in a scallop shell.

You will use a variety of sizes and shapes of glass beads, sequins, wire and thread to create this delightful art piece. Colour choices are up to you from the range of materials provided.

Display your finished sculpture on a shelf, in a display cabinet or in a glass dome (not included) to create a beautiful interior display. They also make wonderful gifts, if you can bear to part with them.

This class is suitable for beginners but it does involve a lot of sewing so prior experience of using a needle and thread is beneficial.

I will bring all the required tools and materials.

If you have one, an embroidery hoop stand is very useful.

There is no need to buy one just for this workshop as I will bring a table clamp as an alternative but if you think you might do more thread or bead work on a hoop then they are definitely worth the investment.
