In this workshop, you will be drawing portraits from photographs. You will look at how to measure proportions of the face to get a good likeness and explore drawing techniques in soft pencil and charcoal.

You Will Need

• Charcoal
• Soft graphite woodless pencils 3B and softer
• A hard rubber and a putty rubber
• A3 white cartridge paper
• A drawing board
• A table easel
• Handwipes

Reference pictures will be provided, but do bring your own black and white photo if you have a portrait you would especially like to do.
