If you have favourite old clothes that you no longer wear but can’t bear to throw away then this workshop is perfect for you. Rag rugging is the perfect way to recycle fabric and make a memory panel. You will need thicker fabrics such as woven woollen tweeds, fleece, wool felt and thick t-shirts.

During this course you will explore different rag rug techniques using a range of tools and materials. You will create a panel that can be made up into a picture or cushion cover.

This course is suitable for all abilities. Tools will be available to use on the course and to buy after.

Materials Requirements (please bring)

• Bring any rug tools if you have
• If you have any chunky yarns and thick fabrics that you want to incorporate into your rug then bring them along

Materials Cost

£10 for a piece of white canvas and all materials.
