Join me for a fun and creative two-day mosaic workshop. All abilities welcome. 

You’ll design and make your own 20cm square mosaic, using a selection of glass tesserae (various shaped glass tiles and sheets of stained glass) which we will cut and glue directly onto an MDF base.

Please come with an idea for your project, or gain inspiration and templates from the material I will bring. We will begin by looking at your design ideas, before moving on to learn about different materials and how they can be mixed and matched for maximum effect. You will discover techniques for cutting the glass and  how best to apply your tesserae to the base. Finally you will discover the wonders of grouting.

Your finished mosaics can go on to be framed (open box frames work well) or used as an exquisite table mat or pot stand for the kitchen.  

Suitable for beginners or those with experience of mosaic making.
