Course Description

Copperplate is beautifully elegant script and is suitable for all abilities including both left and right handed people.

Over the course of two days you will learn how to use a fine point nib and practice the strokes required to construct the alphabet and particularly the letters you choose to make a floral card.

Practice is key, and you can experiment with both sparkly paints and traditional inks that give impressive results even on practice work.

Following this initial instruction, you will have the option to either learn freehand floral illustration techniques or work with a prepared template. Both approaches will result in the development of new skills and a beautifully crafted card which can be fine tuned to any occasion such as birthdays, anniversaries or weddings.
