Course Description

Discover the bold and dynamic world of screenprinting in this inspiring two-day workshop, where you'll learn to create vibrant, multi-layered prints on both fabric and paper. Drawing from techniques made famous by artists such as Andy Warhol and Peter Blake, we’ll explore the art of screenprinting through experimentation, layering, and mixed media.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through the whole process of creating your own richly layered and unique prints. We'll also explore printing with patterned screens and textured surfaces for added visual interest.

A key focus of the workshop will be on composition—specifically the registration, placement, and layering of prints to achieve balance and depth. While you will also be introduced to various techniques to further enhance your prints by working back into them with collage and mixed media.

By the end of the course, you’ll take home completed works printed on both A4 and A3-sized fabric and paper.
