In this one-day workshop, we will explore how to depict a range of subjects from the plant kingdom accurately, in black and white. We will consider how to recreate the form, texture and detail of our specimens using different monochrome techniques - line and tonal drawing, pen and ink and white pencil on black paper. This day is suitable for total beginners, but also those who want to expand their range of botanical art techniques.
Teaching will be delivered through presentations, group discussions, demonstrations and lots of one-to-one support.
