Sara Withers

Sara Withers has been designing and making jewellery for many years. Her work concentrates on the use of beads, polymer clay, wire and resin.

Sara’s work has been sold in a selection of shops and galleries throughout Britain, including the British Museum and the exhibition shop at Two Temple Place.

She is the author of many books of bead jewellery projects. The most recent being ‘The Encyclopedia of Wire Jewellery Techniques’.

Sara teaches bead and jewellery making in several arts centres including West Dean College.

Another of Sara’s bead related interests is the Arkell bead collection in the Pitt Rivers Museum, University of Oxford, which she has studied in order to communicate her enthusiasm to others. She was one of the speakers at the last International Bead and Beadwork Conference in Istanbul.
