Bookings for this course have now ended

The fictional Jewish village of Anatevka during the reign of Tsar Nicolas II is our setting for this year’s Showstopper, Fiddler On The Roof.

Tevye, a poor Jewish dairy farmer, alongside his wife, Golde, has raised his five daughters according to Jewish tradition, but one by one the three eldest daughters resist tradition by choosing partners not selected by the customary Jewish matchmaker. We will explore some of the themes of the musical through a selection of the best songs.

The course will begin with a range of warm-up activities to get our voices primed and ready, and throughout the sessions we will take time to build our repertoire of songs – some will be simple unison numbers, others will include harmony parts.  Whatever your prior vocal experience, Jenni will ensure that she works sensitively with your voices to give you the confidence to sing.

There will be a performance on Tuesday afternoon at around 4pm.
