Matt is an artist from Northamptonshire specialising in figurative work and portraits.

Matt studied at the Art Academy in London from 2015 to 2016 where he developed his practice and started working primarily in oils. It was also whilst there he won the Sir Philip Trousdell Prize for Portraiture.

He was a finalist in the Raw Umber Studio - Image Prize 2023 and has also recently exhibited at the Ironstone Art Prize, Milton Keynes Gallery and the Helestine Gallery where is was also ‘Highly Commended’.

Matt also regularly teaches portraiture and runs life drawing sessions.
