Valerie Price gained a degree in Scientific Illustration and has worked as a freelance Botanical Illustrator with work appearing in publications by The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew: The Royal Horticultural Society: Collins, Dorling Kindersley, and many others. She has taken part in exhibitions in London and America. She has written two books 'Botanical Illustration the First Ten Lessons' and 'Colour and Composition' published by Bloomsbury.
