Jane studied knitted and woven textiles for her degree at Liverpool Polytechnic. After her degree she worked as a freelance knitwear designer and then produced her own range of knitwear for several years. After having her family Jane took her teaching qualifications for teaching in the lifelong learning sector. Textiles have always been the foundation of Jane’s creative practice along with the use of natural materials. Ecoprinting has brought together her love of nature and textiles forming the basis of her current practice that divides her time between teaching workshops and producing unique ecoprinted and hand embroidered products.
